I am writing you regarding one of your very talented realtors, Dawn Cox.  Two years ago, the family decided that it was time to sell my mom’s house and for her to move in with my sister.  My father passed away in May of 2007 and my mother was struggling to maintain the house and felt like it was time to move out.  I live in Washington, DC and I took the role of coordinating this effort – often a difficult task living 4 hours away.  I did some research and arranged for several agents to be interviewed for the listing – ultimately having my mother meet them and getting her feedback.  Dawn Cox immediately showed professionalism and most importantly to the family, made my mother feel comfortable in working with her.  Dawn was the clear right choice and we signed a listing agreement. 

As you know – the real estate market changed significantly starting in 2007 – that plus some significant headaches with the house being older presented many challenges.  Dawn never let up – she continued her hard work and reassured the family that she would find a buyer.  Almost 2 years later – Dawn indeed had a buyer for us!  As I am sure you will agree – real estate transactions sometimes can be quite tricky and it’s the agent’s job to see the details through to closing.  I will spare you the details – but this transaction due to problems with the house was extremely complex.  Dawn showed professionalism and smart strategy and a lot of leg work of her own to keep cool heads and ultimately bringing us to closing.  Last month we closed and the family was grateful to finalize this deal. 

As a real estate investor myself, I have been through many transactions and have worked with many agents – Dawn Cox took on tasks and responsibilities way beyond any agent that I have ever worked with.  Trust me when I tell you – that if it was not for Dawn Cox – this deal would have very likely fallen apart.  Dawn Cox’s passion and tenacity for selling my mom’s house did not waver from the day she got the listing – through all of the headaches – all the way to closing.

I'm glad the whole transaction worked out for everyone, I have to admit, there were moments during this process that I really wasn't sure if the bank was going to come through.  But, they did!
I will be sure to keep you in mind for the future.  Like I said yesterday, I really feel that you saved me and my husband from severely under pricing our condo.  Another real estate agent who has been working for YEARS in my condo complex and was suppose to be an expert wanted to list our place for 10% less than we ended up selling for through you. "When I decided to look for a new home, I did some research online, but was not too sure about what I wanted. I had called some realtors, but I did not feel comfortable and never really "clicked" with anyone. I had found Dawn's name online and decided to give her a call.
